Paisa ("the app") is published by SSR Labs ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app accesses on your device, why, and what we do — and do not — do with it.
To turn your bank alerts into a spending summary, Paisa requests permission to read SMS messages on your device:
The app parses these messages entirely on your device to extract details such as amount, date, merchant or payee, account reference (typically the last four digits), and transaction type (credit or debit). Messages that are not financial alerts are ignored.
We collect nothing. Paisa has no user accounts, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and no advertising. Because processing is entirely on-device:
Your data is held in the app's private local storage on your device. You remain in full control:
We hold no copy of your data, so there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
Paisa requests SMS access solely for on-device, SMS-based money management as described above. It does not use SMS access for any other purpose. You may decline or later revoke this permission in your device settings; the SMS-scanning features will then stop working, but the rest of the app remains usable.
Paisa is intended for adults managing their own finances and is not directed at children under 18.
Because your data never leaves your device, its security is tied to your device's own protections. We recommend keeping a screen lock and up-to-date system software.
If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and post the revised version at this URL.
